CONCEPT ART
| TURNING IDEAS INTO WORLDS PLAYERS NEVER FORGET.
WHY THIS MATTERS
Before production begins, we align the entire team on a shared vision of the world we’re building. Our concept art is the first playtest, the first moment everyone can see what the game could feel like — and it becomes the creative fuel that drives the project forward.
OUR PRINCIPLES
EVERY ELEMENT WITH PURPOSE Props, characters, and environments are designed to guide the player’s eye, tell stories, and drive gameplay forward. SPEED + DIRECTION Moodboards, sketches, and blockouts happen fast, so we find the strongest direction before anyone wastes production time. CLEAR COLLABORATION Every deliverable includes callouts, material notes, and references so builders know exactly what to make. TEST EARLY, FAIL CHEAP We block out in Blender or Unreal, letting us test layout and player flow long before assets are final. CONSISTENCY AT SCALE Style guides, color keys, and documentation keep every asset in sync with the bigger picture.
2D OR 3D?
We work with both 2D and 3D concept art, choosing the approach based on project needs. 3D Concepts – Ideal for large, complex environments, cities, or spaces where scale and perspective are critical. Using a blockout as a base ensures gameplay readability and can double as an early playtest space. 2D Concepts – Perfect for early exploration, quick ideas, and defining mood before committing to full production.
